Well, first of all, not for everybody. But yes, for some. Is that bad?
PLEASE keep one thing in mind: sexual pleasure is not, in itself,
sinful. Fornication is wrong; adultery is wrong; lusting for one of these
is wrong. Some people infer that anything
involving sexual pleasure must be wrong. Ha!
If so, then the
inclusion of the Song of Solomon in the Bible is a terrible
mistake! Pleasure is OK. The fact that something is pleasurable does not
make it wrong. Who told you that God was no fun?
A side issue:
What if crossdressing is combined with something that is sinful? For
instance, what if someone combines crossdressing with adulterous fantasies
(or actions)? In that case, something needs to change. Just keep in mind
which part is the sin, and which part is incidental. Otherwise you may
waste your effort fighting crossdressing and still let the sin find its way
in.
IF trying
to avoid crossdressing is the best way get a grip on the fantasies, then
that's what should be done. If your right eye causes you to sin, you know...
BUT if that's not the case, there's no reason to avoid CDing. It's a
purely 'tactical' decision.
An analogy. If the girl at the ice cream shop is a temptation to adultery,
you need to do something. Perhaps you need to avoid ice cream altogether.
Perhaps you should stock up on ice cream from the supermarket, so you won't
need to go to the ice cream shop. One way or the other, ice cream itself
is not wrong. Make sense?
May the Lord God bless you and keep you!
